Desde Abril que os utilizadores que se juntarem à experiência do botão +1 (brevemente disponível livremente para todos) no Google Labs, começarão a ver o icon “+1″ junto a todos os links nos resultados das suas pesquisas no Google.
Ao clicarem no botão “+1″ é como se afirmassem “this is really cool so you should check it out”. De acordo com a Google esta é a forma de darem a vossa aprovação a um determinado site, para que os vossos amigos, contactos e outros que tais encontrem mais facilmente os melhores resultados para o que procuram.
Apenas têm de se certificar de que estão logados na vossa conta da Google para poderem guardar os vossos “+1″ e verem o que os vossos amigos e contactos recomendam.
Google new social feature is called “+1” and it is google’s answer to the Facebook “Like” button, except it is integrated directly in their own search engine, used by millions of users.
Since April last, users who join the +1 button experiment (soon available to everyone) in Google Labs will start seeing a +1 icon next to each link in Google search results.
Clicking the +1 button is you saying “this is really cool so you should check it out”. According to Google this is you giving a site your approval so your friends, contacts, and others on the web find the best stuff when they search.
Just make sure you’re signed in to your Google Account to save your “+1″ and see your friends and contacts’ recommendations.

In order to +1 things, you first need a public Google profile. This helps people see who recommended that tasty recipe or great campsite. When you create a profile, it’s visible to anyone and connections with your email address can easily find it.
Your +1’s are stored in a new tab on your Google profile. You can show your +1’s tab to the world, or keep it private and just use it to personally manage the ever-expanding record of things you love around the web.
